| Call for Applications: DAAD-Scholarships for Doctoral Research under Joint Supervision (Sandwich-System) The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) offers scholarships for postgraduate studies and research for the academic year 2009/2010 with duration of 2 years. Requirements: Candidates must hold an MS in IT or its equivalent and must be affiliated with a university in their home country; Applicants must be academic staff members of universities or research institutes. Good command of English Strong research capability Can take leave to do research in Hagen, Germany, 1-2 years. Candidates must be under 36 years of age on April 1st, 2009. The Ph.D. students interested to apply joint supervision (Prof. Dr. Herwig Unger of FernUniversity and Asst. Prof. Dr. Phayung Meesad of KMUTNB) are encouraged to come for an interview by 22 August 2008. (The complete application should be submitted to the Embassy by 15 October 2008.)
